Client Responsibilities

1. Eligibility

By using my services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent. You also confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when booking sessions, filling out forms, or communicating with me. You are responsible for updating this information if it changes.

3. Attendance and Participation

If you book a therapy or coaching session, you agree to:

• Attend scheduled sessions on time
• Participate actively and honestly in the process
• Complete any agreed-upon tasks or homework between sessions
• Notify me promptly if you need to cancel or reschedule

4. Professional Boundaries

You agree to maintain appropriate professional boundaries, including:

• Refraining from contacting me outside of scheduled sessions except for scheduling or emergencies
• Treating me and any staff with respect and courtesy
• Not engaging in romantic or sexual advances

My Responsibilities and Limitations

1. Professional Standards

I commit to:

• Providing services in accordance with professional ethical standards
• Maintaining confidentiality as outlined in the Privacy Policy
• Treating all clients with respect, dignity, and cultural sensitivity
• Continuously developing my professional competence

2. Not a Medical Provider

Important: I am a therapist and coach, not a medical doctor or psychiatrist. I do not diagnose medical conditions or prescribe medication. If you require psychiatric evaluation or medication, I will refer you to an appropriate medical professional.

3. Not Emergency Services

My services are not suitable for emergency situations. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, suicidal thoughts, or are in immediate danger, please:

• Call emergency services (Nigeria: 112 or 767)
• Go to your nearest hospital emergency room
• Contact a crisis helpline

Do not rely on email, WhatsApp, or scheduled sessions for urgent or emergency situations.

4. No Guarantees

While I am committed to providing high-quality services, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results. Therapy and coaching are collaborative processes, and success depends on many factors including your active participation and circumstances outside my control.

Fees and Payment

1. Session Fees

Current session fees are:

• Individual Therapy: From ₦15,000/session
• Couples Therapy: From ₦25,000/session
• Life Coaching: From ₦20,000/session
• Business Coaching: From ₦30,000/session

Fees are subject to change with notice. Speaking and digital services are quoted on a case-by-case basis.

2. Payment Terms

• Payment is due before or at the time of the session unless otherwise agreed
• Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, card payment, mobile money
• Package rates (multiple sessions) may be offered at a discount and are paid upfront
• Late payments may result in suspension of services

3. Refund Policy

Individual Sessions: No refunds for completed sessions. If you are dissatisfied with a session, please discuss this with me directly and we will work to address your concerns.

Package Deals: Refunds for unused sessions in a package may be provided on a case-by-case basis, minus any discount received for purchasing the package.

Speaking/Digital Services: Refund terms will be outlined in the specific contract or agreement.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

1. Client Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session:

• 24+ hours notice: No charge. Session can be rescheduled
• Less than 24 hours notice: Full session fee charged
• No-show: Full session fee charged

Exceptions may be made for genuine emergencies on a case-by-case basis.

2. Provider Cancellations

In the rare event that I need to cancel a session, I will provide as much notice as possible and will:

• Offer to reschedule at a mutually convenient time
• Provide a full refund if you prefer not to reschedule

Confidentiality and Privacy

Your privacy is paramount. All client information and session content is confidential, subject to the exceptions outlined in the Privacy Policy.

Confidentiality may be breached only when:

• You provide written consent
• There is imminent risk of harm to yourself or others
• There is suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult
• I am legally compelled by a court order

Intellectual Property

1. Website Content

Termination

You may discontinue therapy or coaching services at any time. I recommend discussing your decision with me so we can have a proper closure session, but this is not required.

2. My Right to Terminate

I reserve the right to discontinue services if:

• You violate these Terms
• You fail to pay for services
• You engage in threatening, abusive, or inappropriate behavior
• I determine that I am not the appropriate provider for your needs
• Continuing services would violate professional ethical standards

If I terminate services, I will provide you with appropriate referrals when possible.

Use of WhatsApp

This Site uses WhatsApp for form submissions and direct communication. By using contact forms on this Site, you agree to be redirected to WhatsApp to complete your inquiry.

WhatsApp communication is governed by WhatsApp's terms of service and privacy policy. While I maintain professional confidentiality, I am not responsible for WhatsApp's data practices.
